Empowering communities for resilience and growth
At PMC Renewal, we collaborate with Indigenous communities to strengthen leadership, build capacity, and support well-being. Our culturally grounded programs are designed to honor unique identities, foster connection, and create opportunities for collective resilience and growth.
Why supporting communities matters
Challenges faced by communities:
Indigenous communities often face systemic inequities, such as underfunded initiatives, gaps in leadership development, and a lack of culturally relevant support systems to promote collective resilience and growth. These challenges can limit opportunities for communities to thrive while preserving their unique identities.
How we help:
Through culturally grounded skills training, collaborative support, and holistic wellness programs, PMC Renewal empowers communities to cultivate leadership, strengthen connections, and build the capacity needed to thrive while honoring their traditions and values.

In Clyde River, we partnered with the community (Hunters and Trapper’s organization) as well as Baffin Fisheries and the program funder Kakivak to develop a shelter that provides a safe space for members when they are out on the land. This initiative supported numerous important IQ principles that enabled well-being and strengthened community resilience.

Let’s create solutions that honor your values and foster collective growth.
“My community benefitted so much from the training program that PMC delivered here. Not only the Inuit who took the course themselves, but also our local Hunters and Trappers Organization. The students built a beautiful cabin and donated it to us. This will be an emergency shelter for those out hunting and fishing in the cold weather! Qujannamiik for this generous gift to Clyde River! The team who built it should be proud of themselves.”
