Labour Pool Database Creation

Everyone in a community has skills, abilities and talents – regardless of age, gender, education, or employment status.  By bringing these assets to the surface, communities can identify opportunities to develop programs and projects to build on and strengthen these assets.  In so doing, communities increase their ability to grow and sustain their social, economic, human and natural resources.

We can assist your community in conducting an employment skills and interest inventory of community members, either tailored to a specific project (such as a mine) or more generally across all employment sectors.  The inventory captures the fields they are interested in, what aptitude and skills they already have and what skills they are interested in developing (both technical as well as behavioural skills).

The resulting data can be put in a searchable database that can be used to build resumes, identify and address documentation gaps, focus training initiatives and link members with potential jobs.
