
Barbara MacGibbon
Barbara has a passion for the North and a personal and professional commitment to working in partnership with Indigenous people.
She has lived in Churchill, Manitoba and worked on Habitat for Humanity and other projects in Haiti and with First Nations and Inuit communities in the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan, Nunavut and Nunavik.
She has developed programs, designed curriculum, and been a federal project manager. She is happiest on the front lines, supporting people with their goals. Oh yes, and she has a Master’s degree in Adult Education, a B.A. from Trent University where she participated in the Native Social Service Worker program, Life Coach training, and a Certificate in Bereavement Education.
